The wrap around patio and bright greenery set the scene for one of Dallas’s newest Italian restaurant. The menu has limited items making your choice for picking a dish a bit easier. The available cuisine pairs nicely with the traditional cocktails or “The New Kids on the Block” , their specialty house drinks.

BEVERLY’S BISTRO AND BAR (TURTLE CREEK) ($$)

Beverly’s prides itself on being a place where the community can congregate over cuisine that is both approachable and locally-sourced. If you happen to be in the mood for coffee and booze try out the Coffee Talk, a whiskey-based coffee drink with Makers Mark Bourbon and Cold Brew.

CEDAR SPRINGS TAP HOUSE (OAK LAWN) ($)

Cure your Friday or Saturday night fever with Cedar Spring Tap House’s Hangover Brunch. All of their dishes are under $20 which means it’s also easy on your wallet after buying rounds the night before.

El Bolero is known around Dallas for their margaritas and house-made chips. The restaurant features a weekend brunch with revolving specials including a BYO Bloody Mary Bar. If you that is not your vibe check out the house mimosas or extensive list of other drinks available.

GEORGIE BY CURTIS STONE (KNOX HENDERSON) ($$$)

The brunch menu has yet to be revealed for the Curtis Brothers’ new venture however from the rumors it is not to disappoint. The new concept is following in the footsteps of sister restaurants Gwen and Maude both located in posh Beverly Hills. Until brunch becomes available, stop in for a date night for the Rotisserie Chicken Dinner for 2 that comes with a whole chicken and two sides for $65

HARRIS’ HOUSE OF HEROES (VICTORY PARK) ($$)

Former New Orleans Saints player De’Vante Harris recently opened a family-inspired, family-run restaurant in the bustling Victory Park area. The menu is classic comfort with an upscale twist reminiscent of what Harris grew up eating with his family. The Sunday Funday adds four additional selections to the regular menu to accompany $5 mimosas.

HERO BY HG SUPPLY (VICTORY PARK) ($$)

HG Supply Co’s latest concept to grace Dallas is placed right next to the American Airlines Center. Like its sister restaurant Hero focuses on healthy choices and add in live games and an arcade. Grab a $4 mimosa or if you’re with friends enjoy a large format Mega Mosa sure to get you where you need to go, quickly.

HOMEWOOD (OAK LAWN) ($$$)

Oak Lawn’s newest restaurant instillation Homewood prides itself with providing patrons with a warm atmosphere and genuine food. The majority of their menu is locally sourced from farmers around the DFW area. Try out the Graham Pecan waffle with moonshine cherries and velvet whipped marscarpone.

JAM + TOAST (IRVING) ($)

From time to time throwing back multiple glasses of champagne isn’t appropriate for what the occasion calls and a simple breakfast is what you need. Jam + Toast is a straight forward restaurant to eat, enjoy and leave. The lengthy menu contains multiple flavors of your favorite breakfast flavors. Opt for the “For Mom” meal if you are looking for the simple fare or go all in with an order of French Toast accompanied by a freshly prepared skilled with eggs, meat, and seasoned potatoes.

MARACAS COCINA MEXICANA (DEEP ELLUM) ($)

Maracas is one of those places I happen to always forget about until I see people mention it or happen to walk by while strolling through Deep Ellum. The food is all-around solid and brunch also does not miss. Plus with $1 mimosas with the purchase of an entree you really can not do wrong here. Stop by and get your fill on the Mexican Brunch Lasagna which is a personal favorite of Dallas chef Gabrielle McBay.

MIRIAM COCINA (ARTS DISTRICT) ($$)

Named after head chef and owner Miriam Jimenez, this Latin eatery pulls inspiration from Mexico and the Dominican Republic to give patrons dishes with an explosion of flavor and as the chef calls them “zingy cocktails.” Choose from one of the plethora of taco dishes or try a bit of everything with one of the combination dishes. Don’t forget to get your picture taken with Miriam to add to her patron wall or play a game of I Spy with the ceiling mural.

MUCHACHO TEX MEX (PARK CITIES) ($$)

New to the University Park/Park Cities area, Muchacho is bring Tex Mex flavors to traditional brunch dishes. Check out the variety of breakfast style tortas or tacos to get your fill.

PAKPAO (DESIGN DISTRICT) ($)

Thai food may not be top of mind for brunch, but it should be. Stop by for their Boozy Brunch on Sundays featuring a full menu of traditional Thai courses and $3 glasses of mimosas.

PANGEA DALLAS (RICHARDSON) ($$)

Famed Dallas Chef Kevin Ashade finally graced Dallas with his restaurant venture Pangea. The full-service restaurant and bar has traditional items like Shrimp & Grits as well as more richer fare the Grand Mariner Brulee French Toast. Make sure you try the Pangea swirl or his secret recipe Frose.

THE COMMONS CLUB AT THE VIRGIN HOTEL (DESIGN DISTRICT) ($$)

The Virgin Hotel has already made a splash in Dallas in the few months that it has been open. The social club concept welcomes guest to an open layout and relaxed environment for everything from grabbing coffee to celebrating your birthday.

SLOANE’S CORNER (DOWNTOWN) ($$)

In the spirit of flexible schedules and entrepreneurship sometimes you need a mid-week breakfast over the weekend brunch. Sloane’s corner boasts a great menu to stop in and grab a bite on your way to the office or for a morning meeting. The cocktail menu is lusciously filled with options for beer, wine, craft recipes and more.

SKY BLOSSOM (DOWNTOWN) ($$)

Enjoy $5 mimosa special on Sundays while overlooking the Giant Eyeball in the yard of the Joule Hotel. The Asian fusion restaurant is serving small bite style plates that are perfect for sharing or ordering multiples.

SMOKY ROSE (SOUTH DALLAS) ($$)

$5 Mimosas

Available on Sundays only, Smoky Rose presents a specially crafted menu to compliment typical delicacies using high quality, carefully selected ingredients. Mimosas are available for $5 a glass but I would opt for the $15 carafe option especially if you are with a group. The Smoky Rose Benedict with the BBQ brisket is one of my personal favorites.

Colorful Australian-style coffee shop in a laid-back, friendly environment. This is also one of my favorite coffee shops (next to Halcyon) to work out of. If you aren’t starving but still looking for something filling opt for the Avocado Toast or the Paleo Breakfast Bowl.

Campuzano is the perfect example of not having to sacrifice great taste for a good deal. This Mexican restaurant has brunch dishes that cost no more than $14 leaving room in your budget for several drinks.

Tucked away in the Oak Lawn area, Crickles and Co serves breakfast from the time they open until closing. The menu items are from family favorites and their classical French trained chef. There are a copious amounts of Build Your Own options to make your own custom sandwich or omelet.

DEL FRISCO’S GRILLE (UPTOWN) ( $$ )

Cheaper than it’s sister restaurant Del Frisco’s Double Edge Steakhouse menu items like the Red Velvet Belgian Waffle and Braised Short Rib Hash keep me coming back.

FERNANDO’S MEXICAN DALLAS (PRESTON HOLLOW) ( $ )

Small family-owned eatery boasting Veracruz-style cuisine with classic Tex-Mex dishes. Whole fried fish, fajitas and paella are some of the favorites.

Relaxed pub known for it’s variety of beer and late night eats. Brunch is served on the weekends from 11am-3 pm in addition to their regular menu. Surprise… there are a few options for our Vegan Friends too.

Personally I can eat Pizza any time of the day so why not for brunch? Matchbox’s stylish industrial interior is the perfect setting for dishes such as Fried Chicken and Grits. If you are going the pizza route the classics are on the menus as well as their own Brunch Pizza.

NORMA’S CAFE (VARIOUS LOCATION) ( $ )

BYOB

Another casual diner fave of mine, Norma’s food may be inexpensive but it doesn’t lack quality or quantity. The best part… its BYOB.

NOVA (OAK CLIFF) ( $$ )

$4.5 Mimosas/$18 Carafe. $6 Specialty Cocktails.

Quaint retro-style restaurant with a juxtaposition of flavors and dishes. The Texas Size BLT is a favorite among my friends and requires both hands to even hold this large dish. Their prices don’t even compare to the portion size.

ORIGINAL MARKET DINER (DESIGN DISTRICT) ( $ )

$3.25 Mimosas and Bellini’s; $3.75 Glasses of Brut

This happens to be one of my favorite cheap, super casual places to catch breakfast at (yes— breakfast. I’ve been as early as 8:30 am). It’s quick but hearty diner food with cheap drinks.

Laid-back restaurant that is a staple in the neighborhood. Between Bison & Chorizo Migas and Bread Pudding French Toast you have enough options to keep you busy between inexpensive mimosas.

STREET’S FINE CHICKEN (CEDAR SPRINGS) ( $$ )

The perfect place for chicken lovers. Street’s is all about prepping chicken in different ways and what better way to have it than at brunch. The ShowBird is one of my favorites right next to the biscuit sliders.

SUNDOWN AT GRANADA (LOWER GREENVILLE) ( $$ )

$2 Mimosas/$9 Carafes

Sundown focuses on fresh ingredients at affordable costs. If you are a vegetarian or vegan looking for more than 1 option that’s not a salad, they have a few on the menu for you to get elbow to elbow with omnivores and not left out of all brunch outings on the weekends.

TAVERNA (KNOX HENDERSON) ( $$ )

A farm is not the most traditional idea of where to get brunch however if you do like trying things out of the norm + doing good, patronize Bonton Farms. Their mission is to  to restore lives, create jobs and ignite hope in a once forgotten and neglected neighborhood with some of the most marginalized people. They have done a lot of work in the Oak Cliff area and what better way to eat than farm to table?

One of the few farm to table restaurants in Dallas, 3Eleven Kitchen & Cocktails provides food with care and craft cocktails.

I honestly didn’t know what I was missing until I had booze in my cereal. The Fruit Loops is my personal favorite. Outside of the boozy cereal, the crowd favorites were The Buffalo Chicken and Waffle, Chicken Fried Steak & Eggs, and The Blueberry Stuffed French Toast.

DRAGONFLY AT HOTEL ZAZA (UPTOWN) ( $$$ )

Although the menu is short, it’s options are very solid for dining. Even if you don’t fall in love with anything right away you will enjoy the $20 bottomless mimosa option.

EDITH’S FRENCH BISTRO (Mockingbird Lane/ Plano) ( $$$ )

Chic cafe with a Parisian rustic flair. The location in Mockingbird Station is more condensed and not as decorated as the one in Plano. In addition, the up North location also has a High Tea for $39 per person. (Reservations must be made 48 hours in advance). The Chicken Croissant is one of my top choices. The cheap cocktails balance out with the more expensive food choices.

GRANGE HALL (KNOX HENDERSON) ( $$$ )

If you go to to Grange Hall, you go for the snobs (literally). The ultra upscale Snob Sandwich is a favorite among Grange Hall guests: smoked salmon, organic egg salad, creme fraiche, and caviar. The menu is limited but the ambiance and decor are to die for.

MILLE LIRE (OAK LAWN) ( $$ )

One of Dallas’s best Italian restaurants, Mille Lire has both ambiance and high quality food. The menu changes daily based on what fresh ingredients are available. Neighborhood pub with elevated bar food. If you are with a group split the Big Ass Breakfast Buritto four ways for a cheap but filling meal. Throw in a few cocktails and you’ve got a party. The $50 Fishbowl isn’t a bad option either.

HG Supply is dedicated to feeding everyone… the carnivores, herbavores, and the omnivores. The focus us on natural, wholesome foods that don’t lack flavor or quantity. Get the Breakfast on a Bun with pachi pachi eggs or grab the Crispy Honey Mustard Chicken Sandwich topped with Texas-made honey mustard and slaw.

Brunch with the Dallas skyline in the background on this Deep Ellum Rooftop with a pitcher of mimosa or their crowd favorite Frose. I always go for the Deep Ellum Hash but as always a fan of the Brunch Burger.

As the name suggests eggs are the star of this restaurant. Very casual eatery with an extensive menu and drinks to match. If you aren’t too much of an egg person go for the Pancake Trio or Cinnamon Roll French Toast.

Get your alcohol and food all in one serving. Anvil Pub is famous for their F*ck Brunch that has 20 oz drinks with skewers of various foods. Over the top but worth it.

Brick walls and shapely bottles filled with variety of libations add to Armoury’s already mysterious charm. Nestled in the midst of heavily restaurant penetrated Deep Ellum ADE holds it’s own serving meals for $15 and under that don’t skip out on taste or quality. The creative cocktails make it a perfect stop before shopping or taking a walk around the neighborhood.

Casual café and bakery that starts brunch as early as 7 am on the weekends. If you aren’t a drinker or mimosas aren’t your thing (weird flex but ok) then their $10 champagne based drinks won’t bother you. Be aware of the potentially long wait on weekends. As a note, the wait can be super long for brunch so it’s not good for a last minute choice.

French Bistro serving Texas-raised meats and vegetables. From quiche to hash there are several options for everyone’s taste buds.

Casual eatery with an eclectic menu focuses on fresh, local organic ingredients. If you have specific dietary restrictions or preferences such as Gluten-Free, Vegan, Whole 30 or Paleo there are several choices on the extensive menu.

Chic restaurant with Southern fare and down home comfort food. If you have family coming into town (think mom, dad, aunties, etc this is a great place to take them.

HALCYON (LOWER GREENVILLE) ( $ )

Halcyon is by far one of my favorite places in Dallas. It’s become one of my favorite places to work, drink, and drink plus work. The hip neighborhood coffee shop keeps the menu simple but can please all friend groups with it’s traditional and vegan curated dishes. If you’re up to it, try the Long Island Ice Coffee. From 2pm-6pm you can also score $2 off the brunch drinks.

Low Country style food in a friendly environment. Corn meal griddle cakes, Buttermilk Fried Chicken, and the four-cheese macaroni are crowd favorites.

Jonathan’s has been a neighborhood favorite for the past eight years. One of my favorite dishes is by far the Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs.

For over 30 years Lucky’s has been serving comfort food in this casual retro style diner. They serve up the regular dishes such as chicken & waffles and hash but their Banana Cognac Pancakes are where it’s at.
