An Outside Insider's Skinny On The Dallas Brunch Scene
Always accept the brunch you think you deserve
It’s an unwritten rule that payment for entry to the “young Black and getting it” society is brunch. From Black and Bougie to Hip & Humble this mid-afternoon outing has transformed over the years from a simple meal to a weekly staple and even to full scale events. We gather on the weekends to divulge stories that should never see the light of day from the night before through animated recaps and he/she said, catch up with friends when schedules have conflicted and to cure hangovers from heartbreak with champagne. Brunch covers a multitude of sins, wins, endings and beginnings.
As anything else in the culture, we made brunch a thing.
Based on my own experiences, mimosa specials, food and more, here are 20 of my top recommendations for Dallas Brunches.
